Attack of the Lederhosen Zombies (2016)
Zombie action in the Alps: a group of young snowboarder is stuck in a remote mountain ski resort, where an all-night aprés-ski party soon turns into a hellish nightmare of zombie mayhem.
The poster for this movie makes it seem much more absurd than it actually is. It feels like it was intended to be more of a standard action zombie flick than the cheesy comedy that the poster portrays it as.
Ground Zombie Deer
The zombie action in this flick is pretty good, it was unfortunate that there ends up being so few actual zombie scenes. There was more potential in the idea than the final conception of this film.
The trailer was more entertaining than the film itself, but even with all of that said I always recommend checking out any and all movies on your own to form your own opinion.
This movie was incredibly short, won’t take much time at all.
Dancing with Zombies
from LA Times:
Ultimately there’s just too much tedious inevitability. “Attack” feels like a movie that was made to create a funny trailer, not because anyone had any burning desire to tell a story about snow-zombies. It’s not great. It’s not terrible. It’s really not anything.
from The Guardian:
The slow, shambling zombies put up little resistance as they are dispatched in a series of gruesome ways involving ski poles, a snow blower and a lot of snowboards. The acting is wooden and the special effects aren’t all that special, but it’s a spirited effort and doesn’t drag during its 78 minutes. You’ll never approach après-ski in the same way again.
tl;dr: This is a stupid movie, and unfortunately it is not the type of bad that is entertaining. There are a bunch of cool zombie death scenes and it is certainly worth watching, but it is never going to be the classic zombie comedy it’s marketing aspired to.
